Batman: Arkham Knight Is Finally Out With A Compelling Yet Disturbing Story.
Rock-steady has finally released the much awaited third installment of Batman video game that introduces a new mysterious enemy, Scarecrow. Gotham has grown like three times in size and you finally have the Batmobile.
Batman, originally from the 90s is a comic series where he stands for his own ideals and ethics to never kill anyone but punish the criminals and beat the thugs and give them so much pain that they wish for death. The new installment packs in a compelling story with Robin and other crew members that help Batman in fighting a no win battle with his enemies. The city is at siege by a new enemy Scarecrow, who is whining over some mysterious history with Batman. The storyline is awesome and you get to do some very cool things like using new gadgets like a Voice Synthesizer, Batclaw and everything that he has on his belt. The Gotham is not like before and is filled with a Los Angeles like concrete environment, which looks more or less like in Blade Runner.
The neon lights, relentless rain and smoky streets make it look really scary and dark. It reminds very much of the actual Dark Knight series and takes you closer to what the comics delivered. One can now proudly tell that Rocksteady has made Batman capable of delivering everything that the comics intended and dramatically gaze at the citys skyline. Another addition that is going to woo you is the Batmobile. You can do all sorts of cool stuff, but even just driving through the city is fun and that is one of the main reasons to expand the Gotham to nearly 3 times the previous area.
It is distinctive too. The Batmobile can run through a large number of concrete walls and pillars destroying every sign of structural support, rocket boosts help it fly between rooftops and the slingshots help Batman gain a boost into the sky just before gliding down through the sky for preparing an attack on the enemy. The Batmobile also uses its main canon to indulge in combat with robot tanks, where it uses the buildings to hide and take cover. It can rotate 360 degrees. Rock-steady has used it as the third support in combat against enemies. Just watch the trailer and you will be persuaded enough to buy this game available for Xbox, PSP and PC.
